Report Text
19.50Report text is text that describes the type or describe the shape, characteristics or properties of public (general) objects, animals, plants, people or events.
Text report or report text has a shape similar to the descriptive text. Students typically have difficulty distinguishing between the two types of text. The most fundamental difference in the two types of this text is as follows.
- Report Text mennggambarkan shape, characteristics or properties of objects, animals, plants, people or events in general (general).
- Descriptive Text mennggambarkan shape, characteristics or properties of objects, animals, plants, people or events in particular (specific).
Report text has a frame or structure (generic structure) as follows.
1. General classification: introducing objects, animals, plants, or someone that will be discussed. One way is to create a definition or classification.
2. Description: tell the parts, qualities, properties, behavior objects, animals, plants, or a person described.
Objectives (purpose) of this text is to provide information or a picture of the general characteristics of objects, animals, plants, or humans.
Verb (tense) used is usually simple present tense. Again, descriptive text and report it seems the same, but actually very different. Descriptive text gives a description of something special or specific, while the report provides a description of the general features of an object type of life or death.
